I first encountered psychological counseling during my adolescence under the diagnosis (or rather, the stigma) of depression. What drove me into a state of lethargy—despite being a playful and optimistic person by nature—was the simple fact that I had no dream. While my peers rushed toward concrete goals, aiming for specific universities and majors, I felt utterly diminished simply because I lacked a set destination.

Throughout those prolonged years of trial, error, and wandering, the one thing that steadfastly sustained me was ***Connection***. I genuinely love people, and rather than engaging in superficial small talk, I feel truly alive only when I connect on a human-to-human level through deep, meaningful conversations.

There were many missteps, and sometimes I feel regret over that seemingly wasted time. And honestly, there is always a lingering fear that such wandering might return. Yet, because I endured those dark nights, I became who I am today, gaining the insight to deeply empathize with those who feel lost while being overwhelmed by the pace of others.

Now, instead of looking back with regret, I choose to walk forward with the inner compass I have found. And for you, who might feel as solitary as I once did, I want to be a warm, gentle companion, walking right beside you through deep connection.

The emotions we experience simply because we are human can sometimes bring us dazzling joy, but at other times, they can become a deep swamp that is difficult to escape from, leaving us exhausted.

Even after we finally struggle our way out, the fear that another swamp may be waiting just ahead can make life feel even more draining.

As pain accumulated and wounds overlapped, there were days when I found myself thinking,
"I feel as though I have become a monster,"
and could hardly bear to face myself.

And yet, what ultimately held me together was one earnest wish:
that because I knew what it meant to be hurt, I would never want my own wounds to become a reason to hurt someone else.

And with the sincere hope of becoming even a small light for those who are hurting in similar ways—or in ways entirely their own—I have carried the dream of becoming a counselor for the past fifteen years.

Just as my heart overflowed with emotion when I first opened this space, I am always deeply moved by the courage of each person who comes here and takes the difficult step of facing their own pain.

I hope that courage is never in vain. Whenever I witness a client finding healing through sincere conversations and the time we share within them, I often find that my own heart is being healed even more deeply.

This path feels like my true calling, and it is the reason I find gratitude in each day.

Just as each of us grows up in a different environment and carries a unique individuality,
every counseling session I share with each client also takes on its own distinct shape and color.

Yet throughout all of these moments,
there is one thing I have always believed.

Even if you may not recognize it within yourself just yet,
I believe that your own unique strengths and radiant positive resources are already there, hidden deep within your heart.

Sometimes, when the weight of life becomes exhausting,
I meet people who desperately wish,
"I just want someone to give me the answer."

But whenever I encounter that feeling, there is something I gently tell my clients.

"I am not someone who can simply hand you the answer.
Instead, as you make your way through the dark and difficult fog,
I am here to help you find the resources that have already been resting deep within you,
so that you can discover your own path through your own strength."

I am someone who walks alongside you as we rediscover those inner resources that have always been yours.

So there is no need to rush.
At your own pace, allow yourself to pause here and slowly catch your breath.

At the end of all the seasons you will encounter,
I believe you will meet the most radiant version of yourself.
